Good. That is a massive waste of time.

He avoids the appearance of losing even when he loses. See popular vote and the 5 million illegal voters. No way he submits to being like all the rest of us shlubs, making a stab at it and being humiliated when his final four all go out in the round of 32. Too proud. Egomaniacal.

His team won bigly. I thought he was trying to get a transition into nfl like cleveland did when they had otto graham.

Did you know that it is illegal to participate in a March Madness office pool on federal property? It's true. Yet, the POTUS for 8 years filled out a bracket on national TV from the Oval Office. He set a great example.

I just don't care either way.

I find nothing objectionable about Barack doing brackets. There is nothing wrong with POTUS having fun and being relatable. ESPN sucking up to him is a different issue.

I similarly find nothing wrong with Trump not doing it if he doesn't care. Trump is not in any way relatable, and trying to be would probably backfire.

Obama is relatable? Dude has had one of the most privileged lives, but he is relatable and Trump isn't?

Well Obama will probably casually talk about the NBA with you in a way that Trump probably cannot. I'm not an NBA guy, but there is a certain amount of casualness that would likely come from that.

Not everything is some personal slight to Trump worthy of getting worked up about. It's a really trite discussion, but I hate Obama and yet I'd rather share a beer with him than a cup of coffee with Trump. And I'd vote for Trump over Obama 100 times out of 100.

I'm not worked up over the "slight of Trump." I just find it funny that Obama is supposedly relatable and Trump isn't.

ETA: I'd say Bill Clinton and GW Bush are more of the "grab a drink and party with" type of Presidents compared to Trump or Obama.

I think Obama is a douche, I think he's a narcissist.

But do I think Obama can speak to the average person far more casually and on their level (sports, life, what's the coolest thing about life in the WH) - yes.

Trump can appeal to normal people in a way he probably shouldn't be able to considering his wealth, but that doesn't mean he's relatable in any sense. It doesn't mean he'd be a dick either, I'd fully expect he's pleasant.

Filling out a bracket does not equal betting in a pool.

The irony in this statement is unreal.
