Only by the deplorable posters who insist on judging players by their worst moments.
Fair or not he will be remembered for the drops against Bama and the one that cost SMU a critical game. Not lighting up Rice.

You know Bill Buckner was an All Star and won the batting title one year.

What do you remember him for?

It’s the way the world works.

Sad that kid will be remembered for some monster drops.

Only by really really really stupid people

His drop vs Bama helped LSU out in a huge way

It forced us to punt, and then Bama fumbled the next play on their 5 yard line

His 114 catches led the entire nation. Quinn turned into a productive player, albeit at a lower level (SMU). His teammate Courtland Sutton got all of the hype, but Quinn had more catches, yards, and scores.

What about the other drop against Bama?

What about his drop on 4th down against UCF that cost them that game?

I understand Trey had a great year and I truly hope he has a long, productive NFL career.

There were critical late-game drops — two by Quinn — and a host of misfires from the Tigers sophomore quarterback. It continued a nasty trend for a team that has become more one-dimensional than many in college football.

SMU's best opportunity at an upset fizzled with 5:10 remaining when wideout Trey Quinn dropped a pass on fourth-and-3 that would have given the Mustangs (6-3, 3-2) a first down deep in UCF territory.

You didn’t crush my theory at all. Only thing you proved is that you have a shitty memory.

No fan of lsu will ever forget the non catch vs bama which would have been 1st down and run some clock.

I wish him well. It looks like he made the right decision.

Instead, we punted, and then on the next play got first down on bamas 5 yard line due to a fumble

You can be mad all you want, but his drop worked out in our favor

What about the two point conversion against Wisconsin as a true freshman... or the 4th and 26 catch with a defender all over him to make smu bowl eligible for the first time in forever? Or lowest drop percentage in college football last season ? Semi finalist for the bilitnikoff? Pff all American ... you are probably right it’s those two poor plays legendary (2nd on the team as a freshman in catches and caught more balls then all LSU receivers combined last season ... oh national record for most catches in a 3 game span)
