As if they weren’t already penciled in the playoff.

They have to beat ND, who probably won't even be that good, then they can sleep until after Christmas again.

I mean I know we say this about every school that isnt ours, but 100% Clemson is doing something on the side differently for these players. They consistently get 1st round picks to say. Jesus must pay nicely

For a runningback that is a great stock. Get to your second contract as quickly as possible

Coach O speaks of God frequently. Sometimes people are just true believers and aren't afraid to express that.

He had 7.8 yards per carry and almost 1700 yards

He isnt improving his stock

I know how this will sound coming from an Alabama fan.

But Clemson and Georgia are paying kids to play for their football team.

I could argue going in the first round is worse for your career as a runningback than going middle rounds due to the extra year of cheap control

He really needs to work on his blocking...Dabo actually called him out in front of the team earlier in the year and called him a 5th round pick if he continues blocking the way he does.

In the NFL, RB's don't average 8 yards per carry.

He can do that at the NFL level.

It’s very rare for a runningback to come into the league with pass blocking skills

True..But the difference in 3rd-5th round money and say 1st and 2nd round is huge.

This has nothing to do with why he forwent the draft.

He could work on it more with his new NFL team.

The difference between NFL free agent money and being under a rookie contract during your prime is even larger

And coming back another year doesn’t guarantee it will raise his stock.

LSU didn't have much problems stopping him. Guess preacher Sweeney told him God wants him to stay at Clempson.

RB is the one position where I would always tell kids to go if they are guaranteed to get drafted.

I can't say this for every school but it's not uncommon for Clemson players to come back. Look at the D-line that won the natty last year. 3 of the 4 players could have went pro a year earlier.

We don't lose a lot of coaches and players like being at the School. We have a good thing going on there right now. It may not always be that way but right now people like hanging around in Clemson

Idk what that really has to do with anything

Kept looking at his draft spot. They had him mid to late second round. Probably a good call. If they can win it next year his stock should rise.
