All I saw was the statement he released:

quote:

“The BCS has finally found someone to stand up and defend the indefensible and Gordon Gee proved it – he not just proved that it’s indefensible but he did so with facts that are simply wrong,” Boise State president Bob Kustra shot back through the Idaho Statesman.

“If anything, ridiculous and inaccurate presentations like this from a major university president will go further to make our case.”

the big schools don't owe Boise or TCU shite when it comes to playing a series, if they keep bitching then comes to the big boys place one and done or 2 for 1, and quit crying for home and home series b/c no one is scared of your fricking high school stadium that you can barley sell out that doesn't bring in enough money to pay a big school to come there

I want to see BSU in ten years when the talent runs dry because they move to a more decent conference and they become a middle of the road team in a middle of the road conference.

Heck Ole Miss could be undefeated playing BSU schedule this year. BSU is just like Obama supporters because they claim they can have what others have and don't have to earn it.

What the frick does Boise State offer to a conference besides football? They are literally downright pitiful in everything else. Academics, overall athletics, market size, everything. The only way I see them joining a BCS conference is if they accept a football-only invite to the Big 12 and even that scenario is pretty unlikely.

This is in reference to them moving to the Mountain West from the WAC

You apparently don't know the difference between a rushing defense and a passing defense.

Boise State and TCU could ask the Big 12 to let them be apart of that conference. Then they could prove us all wrong when they play each other for the Big 12 Conference Championship. See that is how real teams earn the right to have a chance at the BCSNC.

teams like TCU and Boise State would have to beat three, maybe four really good teams in a row. And if they do just that, nobody will complain about their weak schedule ever again.

You kid yourself. There would be the whining that if they had played a hard schedule they would have had more injuries, or if they had played a real schedule they wouldnt have even made the playoff brackets, or that they had all season to study a prepare for the palyoffs while other teams had to struggle with the week in week out.

In all honesty, these two teams would be great additions to the BIg 12. The Big 12 would win with 2 very good teams, and Boise State and TCU would win because they would apart of a BCS conference and they would automatically gain creditability.

Holy Jesus the ignorance of how things actually work in the real world evades so many here.

TCU tried to become part of the big 12 when it was created and they were passed due to political pressure for the powerhouse of Baylor.

TCU lobbied for a position in the Big 12 with the recent realignments but TV market and money kept them out.

How come nobody made those complaints about Butler basketball last year or Gonzaga basketball in previous years?

because football is a MUCH more injury prone sport, that is followed much more closely than B ball.

Go back and look at their record.
Every team ever put in front of Boise they have served up.
Nobody knows how they would do in a tougher conference and to say they would fail is just your opinions.

Gordon Gee has been great for Ohio State in both his tenures there.

Dude I know why Baylor was picked over TCU. There would be no Big 12 if Baylor could not be apart of the SWC/Big 8 merger. The Big 12 is the only major conference missing two teams. Thus if Boise State and TCU want to be treated like big boys then they need to man up and pay the Big 12 to let them in. You need to stop the crying about TCU not getting respect because TCU needs to earn it first. How can TCU earn respect without crying for it, you ask? Take a look at how Florida State did it. They earned the respect while playing big boys on the road. So stop crying purple.

Because Butler and Gonzaga have a history of loading their OOC schedules with heavyweights. Additionally the talent pool is more spread out in basketball. There are as many good basketball players as football players and a lot less scholarships per school to go around.

yes he has. that doesn't change the fact he doesn't know anything about football other than the big check he receives.

remember, "they can take a playoff from my cold dead hands"
