Exactly.

No problem with last week's debacle, but this one is the "worst call in the history of football".

Give me a break.

They sound like Rant posters.

I still don't see proof that the ball itself hit the ground. In that situation the ball pops up either way

Dallas had no business needing a drive at the end of the game to win. Not with the team Green Bay had on the field today. Rodgers being limited as he was.

Dallas didn't lose this game on one play. They lost it on many others. The Murray fumble, not pressuring an injured Rodgers and letting him have time in the pocket on 3rd and long, the botched end to the 1st half, etc.

They had their chances. One play never costs a team the game. Just like last week.

I'm just arguing that the call shouldn't have been reversed. With the way Dallas' defense was playing, Green Bay would have gone down and scored on them anyway, most likely.

I think Detroit got hosed last week if that matters to you.

He wasn't diving for the endzone? That's not why he put one arm down and reached forward? Thats certainly what the official on the field saw. Which is all that matters.

BTW these same guys threw the crew under the bus last week.

And...help me if I'm wrong, but.....is that crew calling the Denver game?

that wasn't the best angle the camera from behind the end zone probably behind the goal post shows the ball clearly hitting the ground.

Maybe you should create an official melt thread for yourself.

what? all I've done is agree with the crew and the 3 NFL refs who tweeted in agreement with the call.

I'm not the one butthurt about a loss and grasping at straws to act like I know better than people who do this for a living

By rule. No.

By the way it should be. Yes.

Rule > the way it should be.

Final answer. No

we don't know what the official on the field thought. It is possible that the official thought that Dez kept his hand under the ball and replay showed other wise.

I don't think I'm really melting. Dallas didn't lose this game because of officiating, like many were claiming of Detroit last week.

That's my biggest contention. He could have just held on to it with both hands and landed and it would have been a catch. He put the ball in his left hand in am effort to get it over the goal line.

wait, the refs actually thought the catch was incomplete ...after review?

The official on the field didn't even see Dez lose control of the ball.
