I do not think the Seahawks will be in the Super Bowl. Carroll is a mediocre game day coach. I still need to see more from aerial attack.
They are certainly one of the best teams in the league.

I personally don't think the Seahawks will make the SB either but I do think they should be ranked no.1 in power rankings so far...

If my beloved Hawks secure homefield throughout the playoffs, then we're making da bowl. No team will enter the confines of Qwest field and defeat us.

I would like their chances in that scenario but see its still not a guarantee

I'm anxious to see how they play @Houston this week. If the Texans D can play to their ability and not lay an egg it should be a good test for Seattle.

Let me guess. They lose to New Orleans??

Overrated like they should be number 2 instead of number 1?

the responses to this thread pretty much make the answer yes
key words "possibility" "tad"
jesus, people think they're the 85 bears
overhyped as in a top 5 team, but not a top 2 team.

Def over hyped. Their defense is outstanding. Wilson will be a great qb for many years to come but I just don't see the playmakers on offense outside of Lynch. And don't give me that "but Harvin's coming back!" He isn't what everyone makes him out to be and he's injured often.

He's pretty fricking good when he's healthy

Then no.
IMO, they are the top 2 and there is a drop off to number 3.

You see it all the time. A team gets tons of hype, look to be dominant, and end up disappointing. The Seahawks are a great team and their fans should be super excited. In the NFL anything can happen. This can be said for any top team from year to year though.

I think he is the future of the NFL, I really do. I like him much better than kaep and rg3 for sure and I think he'll be better than Luck.
i just expect him to struggle this year, which isn't some crazy expectation.
