For those wondering which QB bust would get another shot first, JR or VY
Who was wondering this? Young seems like the obvious choice between those two

There were two threads on this recently, so someone.

Eta: I don't think either of them make a roster again.

Didn't they draft Terelle Pryor to play Vince Young?

Was my thought. I don't expect him to be signed.

I wouldnt call Vince a bust, the dude has a winning record as a starter, was ROY and made a Pro bowl. He may be a headcase, but was fairly productive on the field.

Jamarcus, on the other hand, is the definition of a bust.

Vince had a decent rookie year with two game winning, exciting runs. He never did anything other than the runs against the giants and texans. I get what you're saying, but he busted out, had it not been for bud Adams, young would've been cut after being benched the entire 08 season, which saw them go from a barely made the playoffs to a 10-0 start number 1 seed

Go check his stats brah, the guy was smoke and mirrors. The Titans were winning games because of their defense.

In Vince's "pro bowl" year he threw 12 TD's and 19 int's with about a 57.9% completion.

ETA: (66.7 QB Rating) 12 TD-13 INT, 51.5% completion, 552 yds rushing and 7 TD's. Very MEH year. Most QB's throw for more TD's than he had total. My opinion is that he was still riding that Rose Bowl victory and high draft status. As he began to unfold and time began to separate him from that game he slowly faded out of the picture and to where he is now as at best a back-up MAYBE.

The Titans were winning games because of VY. It was unfortunate that Jeff Fisher wanted to feel right more than he wanted to win football games:

VY, when he was allowed to start, was the best deep thrower in the NFL:

Vince walked into a terrible situation. How often do you hear about the front office and the coaches having a bitter dispute about a top pick while that pick is being announced:

LINK

Vince certainly didn't have the best stats. The Titans WR corps was the worst in the NFL during most of his tenure. It would be like expecting someone to set the world on fire as the QB of the Browns the past 2 seasons.

Still, Vince had the best winning % of any full time starter in Titans/Oilers history, 2 Pro Bowls, ROY......and this:
