for me there is some of that, but my main issue is the status of dogs compared to other animals....
But that's another debate.
What he did was wrong according to the law....and morally. He was punished for it. Now all these people just have to let it go.

Wait! The people who adopted the dogs AFTER all the crap were going to confront him? That's BS! Don't get me wrong, I think what he did was wrong, but he paid his price. If he did this to dogs that were owned by others, and THOSE people want to confront him, MAYBE we have a legit situation. These people adopted the dogs knowing what he did. They need to shut up and play with their dogs.
