I'll bump this again tonight and see what the general consensus is. I'll tally it up.

at least everyone agree that Fitz and AJ are clearly the 2 best. i think they are interchangeable at the top and then there is a gap and 3-5 players have a claim to #3.

I would argue that Brandon Marshall and Calvin Johnson are up there with them. Both would benifit from Shaub and Warner throwing to them.

Might put desean jackson as my #5

bullshite!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tell me ONE team that wouldn't take him in a heartbeat????

but some on here act like Warner is only great b/c of his targets. Also, AJ still puts up numbers when Schaub is hurt.

As long as we all agree AJ is number 1.

to me, Brandon Marshall is just as good of a WR as Andre and Fitz. Same with Calvin. I had to put Randy at 5 because he's still better than Wayne, Welker, Roddy, Boldin, Housh, Ocho, Colston, Sidney Rice, and Deshawn. To me, that is the next tier of WR's.

Moss historically drops a lot of balls and even in New England has shown some effort problems. No way I take him in my top 5.

Moss looks to apparently have cashed it in from the game this weekend.
Pete King mentioned how awful he was in his MMQB.

Idk, guys like A. Johnson, Fitz, Calvin, Reggie Wayne, Steve Smith, Colston, and even Marshall (never not tried during an actual game) have never just given up on routes because they were pissed off. I wouldn't take Moss on my team before those guys.
Steve Smith of Carolina needs more credit. He might be in my top 5 if I had to revise it.

Oh...I thought this thread was asking for the top 5 WR's, not which you prefer.
Randy Moss is at lowest the 2nd best WR of all time and hasn't showed any signs of slowing up. Like you said, it looks like his issue this year has been with effort. He is still clearly a top 5 WR in my mind.
Posted on 12/14/09 at 2:52 pm to PortCityTiger24
Well I guess you can interpret the question however you want it. He is a top 5 wide receiver talent-wise, but if he isn't trying his hardest then he isn't.

Tough call after Fitz, Johnson, and Marshall.
Posted on 12/14/09 at 2:57 pm to BayouBengals03
If that is the case then I would put Wayne at number 5.
