I’m blown away by the fact that I don’t know who Otto Graham is.
Every now and then I get a wake up call that 32 is still young.

He gets included bc he’s arguably the most important player relative to the modern NFL in so many respects, his signing with the Jets changed the business of sports forever

Namath ranked a little higher than I anticipated. He was the greatest of the AFL (1960-69). Had a couple of good seasons after the merger in 1970, especially 1972. Definitely a deep ball thrower, no dink and dunk... explains the many interceptions. Also, hung on a bit too long after skills diminished.

I think Kurt Warner, at his best, is a top 10 all-time great. But he had only 4-6 really fantastic seasons. Remember his stint w/ the Giants? Leading the Cardinals to a Super Bowl was amazing (a miracle Roethlisberger to S. Holmes TD in the final minute stole his crown). His playoff passing stats are almost second to none.

Having Elway at 12 is a joke... football is not all about stats..... and where you put Staubach is even worse...
Just to let you know that I’m a football guru as well and been following it for 54 years.... your list needs a lot of work.....

Better make room for Burrow in the future. That is, if he doesn’t get crippled.

Kneeler Brees way too high, that cuck should be in the late teens

dukke v,
Appreciate the feedback. You certainly can't rely on stats alone as the measure of greatness. This was just an attempt rank the greatest using only objective measures (stats, awards, championships, longevity, etc.) that could be compared across generations. I respect that people have strong opinions and disagree. Would love to see your rankings.

I’ll work on MY list.... everyone has an opinion here and I am sure you will disagree with my list.

The only list Namath belongs on is most overrated player of all time. The man had more career interceptions than touchdown passes.
Is this true???

7. Drew Brees
Thanks for sharing. Can you give insight on what #s specifically in your data warranted Favre over Brees?

Must be heavily weighted toward super bowls. that 0-4 dragging him down
Not sure, since Troy Aikman didn't make the list.

Troy Aikman came in at #38.

Very good list that covers the league qoing far back.
Can't really argue with it.
You may want to provide your list of measures/stats, but I doubt many can debate the overall list (perhaps puck some nits about a few rankings).

I think Aikman is a decent QB that landed in the right place at the right time.

No real arguments from me other than I think young and elway are a little low, I would rather them in a game for my life than farve brees or Rodgers

It was very close between Favre and Brees. Favre led in the following stats: Super Bowl appearances, MVPs and All-Pros. He was also named to NFL All Decade Team and NFL 100 All-Time Team, Brees was not.
