Utterly stupid,
no arguments here, the list is completely ridiculous

should replace them with 1999 Florida State, wire to wire no. 1
Sure I'm a homer but I don' see how 2022 UGA wouldn't make the list if we're throwing other teams in the mix. In 1999 the ACC was an absolute joke; after FSU the 2nd place finisher ended the year with FOUR LOSSES. Let that sink in...the second place finisher in the league ended up with 4 losses...3 of which were in conference and they barely ranked in the top 20. Call me skeptical but I don't think FSU running roughshod through a bunhc of scrubs is that impressive. They really only had 2 tough contests, the last 2, which they of course won.
Cmopare that to UGA who played 3 more total games and did it against an SEC schedule. They also poened with an Oregon team that ended with 10 wins, and ended the season with 2 wins over top 4 teams en route to goin 15-0.
Really there is no comparison between the two resumes.

There's Nebraska 95 and then everyone else
They definitely are the standard and I also look at single-season teams like 1971 Nebraska, 1972 USC, 1979 Alabama, 1988 Notre Dame, 1999 Florida State, 2001 Miami, 2018 Clemson, and 2019 LSU some crazy elite teams there with stacked rosters.

Forgetting no mention of a single Bama team but so many teams in front of 2019 LSU. Do you think this is even close to being a good measurer of 10 greatest teams in CFB?
No bammer team belongs on the list.

It’s odd Bama doesn’t often come up on these kind of lists… after having arguably the greatest run in CFB history. It’s almost more impressive in a way.

I'd support including 1979 Bama in the mix, I don't think undefeated 2009 and 2020 Bama were the best versions of those talent-laden Saban teams and 2020 will forever have an asterisk with all those half-empty stadiums and opt-out squads I mean Florida was the SEC East representative in the title game that season, that tells you how much the quality of the rest of the league dipped in the Covid year then everything basically returned to normal in 2021 except LSU's decline under O

LSU with Burrow, Chase, and Jefferson are pretty much unstoppable. I think they got #1 right.
Also the defense while not loaded had enough with studs like Stingley, Queen, Fulton, Delpit etc. plus Aranda calling the shots

IMO the 2011 Bama team was a great great team. The best of the Saban era.

2018 Clemson is criminally underrated. Went 15-0 and destroyed Alabama 44-16 in title game. Clemson had three first round draft picks on the defensive line!
