Swept by the boilermakers this year with that loss tonight. Some Hoosiers feel that he is not making the most of the talent he has brought in

I'd take him. I think he's a better coach than most of the SEC coaches. Big 10 can be tough sledding in general. But I don't trust Battle to find a diamond in the rough. Rather roll the dice with Crean who has at least had success.

Tom Crean has always been a real solid recruiter and a pretty bad in-game coach.
People gave him a pass the first couple years at Indiana after the mess Kelvin Sampson left, but he no longer has any excuses.

Crean has largly been riding the coat tails of Dwayne Wade.
He isn't a great recruiter when you take in to account the amount of talent that state pumps out.

I always thought Crean was an overrated coach who was fortunate to caoch Dwyane Wade to make him look more successful than he truly was. Plus he's an easy guy to hate. Indiana shouldn't be as far behind Kentucky in the recruiting race as they have been in the last decade. Find a coach players want to play for.

I mean Indiana let Trey Lyles out of state. Indiana's Mr. Basketball who also won a state championship.
