They already beat K-State by 16 this yr, so yes. Wisconsin isn't a terrible matchup for them. It's probably a 50/50 game.

In December. For the most part K-State was lights out since then except vs Kansas and they shite the bed vs Okie State in the last week of the season.

If anything I think that loss to Gonzaga woke them up after playing a very weak schedule. They went on to get some huge W's shortly after. so......

Considering they beat the 4 seed in their bracket earlier this season by double digits...and Wichita State won't be able to match Gonzaga's interior (as someone else already said), it's not hard at all to see this team getting to the Elite 8, much less the Sweet 16.

Think about it: Gonzaga's "easy" conference had nothing to do with getting prepared for freaking Southern...unless you think the SWAC is better than the WCC. If so, I'm not arguing with you.

Back in the 80s, a Duke team beat their 16 seed by 5 (if memory serves me correct), and then ran all the way to the title game. One close win doesn't mean a team is done for. It's happened a dozen times. It's just that Gonzaga isn't one of the big dogs and it's easy to jump to that conclusion.

You and everyone that thinks this are stupid. Their Strength of Schedule was middling at 75th, but their RPI was 6. Going 31 and 2 is legit. They were ranked 1 throughout a chunk of the season for a reason. O and they're 6 and 2 against top 50 RPI teams. That's pretty solid.

They got scared today for the reasons they were predicted to get a scare: Southern is a far more athletic team than Gonzaga and they tried to run the Zags out of the gym. In the tournament, it's all about matchups. You get mismatches on a more consistent basis in the tournament because teams aren't all built the same. They tend to be built to win their conferences.

The Zags match up much better with Wisconsin and Ohio State than they did with Southern. They will probably have a better showing against them if they play them.

Zags to the final 4 where they lose to Louisville. Book it.

Who are these people who act like one bad showing means you have no chance next time out? I'd probably prefer to play Gonzaga after an easy win than a gut check.
