Man a contender should have traded for Cousins. I know the salary is a huge deal but the Falcons probably would have taken a very fair deal. He can still quarterback.

He's also held together by dental floss and krazy glue. He'll get hurt wherever he goes, but he'd be an upgrade for a lot of teams for sure.

TB needed the Falcons to make that 2-pt conversion. They drive down and kick the game winning FG if that happens

I think so too

Fire Todd Bowles

Pretty much rooting for the Panthers now, as long as we fire Bowles. Enough family and friends and former gamecocks that it's easy to root for the Panthers, and I don't want another year of Bowles.

What a fricking choke

It'll still be the NFC South going forward, so literally anyone and everyone in that division will have their chances. Ready to move on.

This. Should’ve promoted Liam when they had the chance.

Honestly amazing with Daniel Jones’ injury history and JJ McCarthy’s dogshit play that neither of these teams made a move. Yeah - he won against an injury riddled and have already written off the season Washington team, but I NEVER understood the love for JJ to begin with. I’m 56 and pretty dame sure I could get Justin Jefferson (w/Addison and other good WRs on the team) better stats than McCarthy has this year.

And I realize despite being a UT homer that Ehlinger is limited, but no way you can tell me that promoting him from the practice squad isn’t a better option than fricking Rivers.

Bucs defense has been trash for so long I think it’s time to fire Bowles. Even if Baker manages to pull out a miracle the next few weeks he needs to go.

I hope that was the "Fire my coach" game and we won. Fire Todd B today

Blaming the players is always a good look. Sounds like a man who knows his days are numbered.

quote:

Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Todd Bowles blasted his players and challenged them to "look in the mirror" after his team blew a two-touchdown lead in the fourth quarter and lost 29-28 to the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday night at Raymond James Stadium.

quote:

"You don't make excuses," Bowles said in an expletive-laden reaction. "You got to f---ing care enough where the s--- hurts. It's got to f---ing mean something to you. It's more than a job. It's your f---ing livelihood. How well do you know your job? How well can you do your job? You can't sugarcoat that s---."

I mean , he is right. The players are giving shite effort and have been for months. But it is his job to get them motivated or play someone else.

He is gone. I dont see any other way for this season to end

he does and he is one of my favorites but his play the last 6 games has not been good. They cant protect him and thats a lot of the issues but he has also been shite at times and made some big mistakes

The entire team has been shite for two months

In fairness he’s been missing key players and they had so many drops. And up 14 in 4th qtr falls on D.

But you are right he’s not played the best either. I think he’s hurt but won’t say anything. I also hope their HC goes he sucks

Update: This isn't far off. 14 career TDs, 6 against Tampa Bay

Oh I know. He also has been somewhat injured but it doesnt excuse bad decisions.

Plus, he is holding onto the ball way too long at times. He doesn't have everyone he needs around him. That's for sure, but he has still been very inconsistent the last few weeks.

This is the part that can't be overlooked. The division is there for the taking and to blow that lead, at home, against a team with nothing to play for is bad.

Falcs rise up just in time to contend for the Division Championship, right?
