I had them going to the Elite 8!

of course, the rest of my racket is horrible, but i can claim this.

also happy to see this. so much basketball talent in Chicago. if they can start recruiting they should be ok.

I'm bought in. Never thought I would be wearing my Loyola sweater after grad school.

lots of people walking around today with their Harry Potter scarves on. tons of graduates in the city, just very little pride in the school prior to a week ago

Loyola isn't a small school, by any stretch, but do you blame them? Basketball is the only sport capable of being recognized by a national audience.

Picked them to win 2 games and debated picking them in the Elite 8. Kicking myself now.

BLUR TF UP!!

But in all honesty it was pretty crazy out in the city tonight for this game, it’s gonna be a fun Saturday for the elite eight.

I'm gonna have to find another quote for the Elite 8 that will propel OUR Ramblers to victory. I'm running out of shite.

Rogers Park has gentrified a lot recently. The area around Loyola, specifically, is pretty cool. It's like ten minutes from Northwestern.

Some people figured about ten years ago that there was only one piece of turf in the entire stretch of lakefront from downtown Chicago to the Illinois/Wisconsin border that was shitty, and it was Rogers Park. It then gentrified with a quickness.

You now have less than 48 hours to find something else to inspire the fighting Sister Jeans. Don’t let us down!

They better be flying the remaining members of the '63 national championship team into Atlanta. This is the best run since then.

This is so awesome.

That would be awesome if that were to happen.

Yeah and Rogers Park besides around Loyola isn’t vey shady. Unless you consider tons of Indians and Koreans shady, plus it’s a 30 minute red line ride from the loop and even less from lake view (where tons of Loyola students live).

You are correct that Loyola's main campus is in Rogers Park, but there are plenty of undergraduate/graduate/law classes on their Water Tower campus, which is only a couple blocks from Magnificent Mile.

And also tons of homeless. I hate walking down Chicago right there.
