The fluke is the 75% shooting from behind the arc for the TWolves.

Pfft at my thread marking the win getting whacked.

All I gotta say is to those who counted our beloved Mavericks out.

Heart of a champion boys... people say our team is mentally soft... it takes mental toughness to close a 29 point gap in 22 minutes... and that's exactly what the Mavs did. The four horsemen, the best core in basketball, did great tonight.h

These 6 month old HOrnets fans think they know our beloved Mavs who we've been following for 7 years better than we do.

When I say Dirk Nowitzki is the best PF in basketball, it's cause he fricking is.

When I say the Mavs are the 2nd best team in the West right now, it's cause they fricking are.

When I say the Mavs are winning a championship in June, it's cause they fricking will.

MAVS MAVS MAVS!

I still say Duncan, but I can go either way on this one.

There is a 0% chance the Mavs could beat the Spurs in a 7-game series right now.

Good one.

If they were so great like you say they are, then they wouldn't be down by 29 AT HOME to a pathetic wolves team.

What a fluky win by a pissant, soft arse fluky team.

As long as the Mavs don't have to play the 8 seed in the playoffs they win the championship.

When i say you barely beat a 6-25 team at home, you fricking did.

When i say the Hornets are the best team in the division, they fricking are.

When i say the Mavs are 4th in the same division, they fricking are.

When i say the Mavs wont make the playoffs, they fricking wont.

Hmmm...that was pretty easy.

Guys. When I talk about flukes, I really mean it.

The Twolves were shooting over 60% from the field and over 75% from behind the arc while hte Mavs were shooting 33%. That's why we were down 29. Well you know what? All of those are fricking fluke stats. When team A is shooting 17% higher than it's season average and when team B is shooting 12% below it's season average it's a fricking fluke. That's how 29 point fluky arse deficits happen.

Well, the law of averages is the counterbalanace to flukes and it kicked in for the TWolves like a motherfricker.

It's a league of runs, and tonight was a case of extreme runs. It happens here and there.

So, let's just look at it through 48 minutes. In 48 minutes, we beat the TWolves by 7. I'll take it, that's not bad at all... just the other week the Hornets only beat the Grizzlies by 7, and tonight beat the Wizards by only 12. Yeah they didn't need a 29 point comeback, but it's a 48 minute game, not a 26 minute game.

Ghazi, you are the ULTIMATE HOMER. Twisting facts to fit your beliefs. There is no way the Mavs will win the division and if, and that is a big if, that they make the playoffs they will be one and done. Do you really think that Dampier is better than Chandler? Do you not understand that the team with the best point guard versus the team with maybe a top fifteen point guard will always win? Dream on, I wish I had your prescriptions.

I guess the Hornets are better than the Cavs/Lakers then, huh?

Jason Kidd is a top 10 point guard... but this is balanced out by the fact that Jason Terry, Dirk Nowitzki, and Josh Howard are far superior to Peja, West, Chandler, Posey, and the rest of the scrubs the Hornets put out there.

There's no chance the Mavs will win a division title? NO CHANCE a team can make up a 1.5 game deficit with 50+ left to play? just NO chance at all? we shouildn't even bother playing the games?

As much as I despise Ghazi's posts about the Mavs, it's silly to say the Mavs have no chance at the division title when they are in fact 1.5 games or so out of 1st. Since there are no dominant teams in the division, it will be up for grabs until the last week into the season where any of the four teams could win it. Houston and Dallas have as much as a shot at it as the Hornets and Spurs too. Seems a lot of you haven't been around NBA basketball for long.
