This is a move he should have made about 10 years ago. I've watched some highlight videos of his recently, and knowing how successful he was in college and watching his wind up is all you need to know about the step up in competition between college ball and the NFL.

There will be a twitter poll where you can vote on what hymns you'd like them to sing

He should’ve play tight end or linebacker to begin with. Could’ve been all pro but he was a stubborn dumbass

Or he just didn't want to do it and didn't need the money.

Eh. If I could make millions as a Broadcaster( still play Baseball ) or grinding it out in the NFL at a position I dislike. I'd pick the former.

Tebow should’ve been a LB or FB in the NFL.

He would’ve dominated at either.

We don’t know that.

Do we even know if Tebow can catch? We know he would never have been a stud TE. Those were Gronk and Jimmy Graham and Tebow wasn’t that kind of at-leet... maybe he would have been serviceable, but honestly if you give most people the choice between Tebow’s QB career and what he would have done as a TE, they’d take the QB career

This shite always cracks me up

Dude didn’t play a lick of those positions growing up, but he’s just a lock to dominate and be better than everyone else who came into the league playing those positions for years and being just as talented as him if not more so

Not to mention the couple times he did try to catch or play other positions besides QB, he looked completely lost.

This is the only real evidence we have to answer this

Everybody is shiting on this, but it's an opening for him to start coaching.
What on earth will he be coaching?

He’s a good dude and influence but he’s never been regarded as a particularly bright guy and his mechanics at the position he played his whole career were terrible.

If Meyer wants him around the team, chaplain makes sense. Not coach.

Why is every athletic QB who can't pass and random power forwards in basketball an automatic legit TE? Real TEs have enough trouble running great routes and making great catches, but yeah I'm sure Tebow or LeBron would just automatically pick it up like it's nothing

Yeah the league can barely scrape together more than 3 elite TEs at a time but people think you can just find any ole dude off the street and coach em up
