It's the classic example of taking the brief glory over the sustainable career.
If Tebow had focused on playing tight end out of college he could have easily had a Trey Burton level career at worst, his combine measurables were about like Burton's. But for some reason Josh McDaniels drafted him way too high and he had that one shining season and that was it cause he couldn't throw worth a shite.

They may try it during preseason but I can't imagine he will be taking up a roster spot and I doubt he's eligible for the practice squad anymore

Everybody is shiting on this, but it's an opening for him to start coaching. Urban can take him under his wing and mentor him for a few seasons. It's a solid opportunity..
