if tiger doesn't win one until 2013 he will still be on pace with jack. that is sick.

Jack has 18 major wins, 19 major runner ups, 48 top 3 finishes and 73 in the top ten while competing against some of the legends. I think Tiger is the best of all time but to say there is no argument is ridiculous.

18 Majors and an ungodly number of 2nd place finishes still trumps what Tiger has done so far.

But we all agree that Tiger is ahead of Nicklaus' pace.

That said, I still root for Phil. Don't always root for Tiger, and I thought the Ryder was more exciting w/o him.

Oh, I did hear recently that Tiger is a conservative and supports republicans. If I get confirmation on that I'll be a huge Tiger fan.

I was 21. I still say that Tiger is better. Time will tell.

Tiger is a republican, along with 95% of the tour, based on their tax bracket

Correct. But just because he's ahead of that pace doesn't always mean he's going to overtake his record.

I think Tiger will overtake Jack, but Griffey was ahead of Aaron's pace too and we all saw what happened there. You never know.

Do you think Michael Jordan cannot be in the discussion of greatest basketball player of all-time because Bill Russell has more championships and Kareem and Karl Malone scored more points?

First team sports =/= individual sports.

Second, I'm not saying Tiger should never be crowned the greatest golfer ever. I just don't think he deserves that distinction just yet.
