When it gets to the final 16 there’s overtime then penalty kicks to decide the winner. I like it that way, but think there should at least be an overtime period in the group stage.

Group stage ties are always viewed as a win or a loss depending on how the game goes

The US lost to Wales 1-1 yesterday

In 2010 the US beat England 1-1

Their fanbase is almost everyone in the world, so not much room to grow.

Somehow I think the most popular sport in the entire world will be just fine.

Tried watching the World Cup this year and USA ended in a tie and now the Mexico/Poland game is about to do the same.

Lol pathetic… ties shouldn’t exist. It’s a waste of everyone’s time. The players, the fans, everyone gets ripped off.

This lame arse shite will make you look forward to the up-coming WNBA season!

I bet on the Mexico/Poland match that it would be a draw. It was exciting as hell for me. Especially that save by Mexico.

Just because you're too dumb to understand doesn't mean they are going to change the format.

A tie is much more logical then the stupid arse shot college football does in OT. I would much rather college football end in a tie then why they do now

I much prefer football to soccer.

But I am man enough to admit soccer is a better and much simpler sport. The amount of rules and illogical inconsistencies in the rules of football is kinda a joke

That’s why the “you don’t like soccer because you’re dumb” comeback is hilarious

Move what goal posts?

People are free to enjoy soccer. I am free to criticize an aspect of it I find unappealing.

I do like that soccer has no commercials other than at half. Probably the best thing about it. I also like that it is only 2 hours long. Baseball games and college football games are generally too long.
