I mean, that’s a bit apples to oranges comparison, fields was a first rounder and has consistently been able to compete or start for actual jobs at QB for 5 seasons
Franks came in as a 6th round pick and almost instantly changed positions bc he had no shot to play QB and spent a few years on the practice squad before getting any kind of actual playing time.
Getting a few years of first round/ starting QB money is for sure the better route (48 mil career earnings for fields vs 4 mil for Franks)
backup money ain’t bad either and he’ll likely be able to get a few more seasons as a backup with his rushing ability. Changing positions at this level is a pretty steep hill to climb

Fields is a terrible QB. Watching him play is painful. I don't understand how he is still starting. I am lying I know why. QB play in the NFL is a dumpster outside of a few QB's.
