You fricking serious? They weren't calling PI on LSU either. Anyway...didn't see the game tonight but I'll have to catch the highlights.

isu, stands for Iowa state. I was saying Iowa state got some horrible pass interference calls on balls that were uncatchable by the horns.

Compared how the lsu Georgia game was called this was a 180 to call everything. NCAA needs to get its shite together on how they officiate games.

Texas also fumbled that ball and the replay showed the whistle blew after the strip. Can't believe that didn't get overturned.

But the refs did not want to call PI in that LSU - UGA game.
How many times did Gary Danielson bring that up?

It reminded me of an umpire calling strikes two feet off the plate all game long.

I don't know I was at the game but it seemed pretty bad on both ends from the stands. I love the time in the end zone where there was a no call so we run the exact same play and the ref calls it the second time.

I just watched the Rhoads speech. It was stupid. First of all, this guy lost to Northern Iowa this year, so he's not Knute Rockne. Second, I wonder if he made any mention of the 38 penalty yards his defense gave to Texas on that final drive, putting them at the 2. Third, the runner probably should have been called down on account of his forward progress being stopped.

Thank God that Texas won in controversial fashion so that all the paranoid goobers who imagine that Texas owns an entire conference can sleep at night. Remember, the five schools that ran away from Texas have combined for 0 conference titles since departing, and after this year, it will be a combined 32 years.

That's right. Arkansas, Colorado, Missouri, Nebraska, and Texas A&M have had 32 combined years of not having Texas standing in their way, and not a single one of them has won anything.

All this bitching about Texas is stupid. All this underhanded stuff that they're allegedly doing, and it's amounted to one national title in 43 years, and that national title was won over a team which featured an ineligible player who has since been stripped of a Heisman.

The fumble was iffy but Iowa State played stupidly down the stretch. Played not to lose. The penalties were legit.

Yep. Thank God there was a controversial ending so that people can imagine that Texas buys officials off.
