Whle I think defensively they would be ok, especially since Westbrook is athletic enough to guard most 2s.
The problem is that Westbrook is mot valuable when he has the ball in his hands and driving the lane. He is not a good enough jump shooter to be a starting 2 IMO

If any bench guard should be starting for the Thunder it would be Harden, but Sefalosha is a great defender. Both Harden and Maynor look for their own shot too much to be starting with both Westbrook and Durant right now.

The problem with westbrook is he doesn't know when to get the ball out of his hands. He has the best pure scorer in the league on his team. He doesn't need to be taking 20 shots per game.

Honestly the only reason Harden comes off the bench is because he is used as the offensive playmaker of the second unit. He typically always plays more minutes than Thabo.
