Would you take this? “If” OKC wins game 4, taking the pacers to win series would be a nice hedge. I would assume an OKC win in game 4 would bump Indiana up over +500. You wouldn’t break the bank on this bet, but it would be interesting

Hope that was a troll. Hedge bets are 100% the best bets you can make. Show me one time in history that a bet is guaranteed to win money??

I think you’d have to be very confident OKC wins game 4 but also not confident picking a series winner. Idk if that information state makes sense, but if that’s you, sure, why not.
You might be out your arse if OKC loses game 4 though.

Most definitely. OKC would have to win game 4. That’s why I love ML and series betting. Hedges come around often.

I don’t like contingent hedges, I don’t really consider them hedges. Even if you think you have the future odds figured out, a player can get injured like Tatum and drastically shift odds.

Indy only at +395. Thought it would be higher. Guess I’ll ride with Thunder -260.

Indy +830. Took it. Along with OKC at -260

Hedge bets are betting against yourself.
If you have to hedge, over the long run, it means you're losing bets.
Every now and then you can catch a tweener or a good odds drop, but too many times it means you're losing somewhere.

No offense, but you don’t understand what a hedge is. A true hedge just means you’re limiting your winnings, but winning money is a 100% lock.

This is why good gamblers hedge bets.
