Does that make him less of an a-hole somehow?
*he also apologized to EA via twitter for "scaring" her.

I have only skimmed this thread but anything that sets Skip Bayless up as the good guy and says Richard Sherman as an a-hole for anything he said to him is first level dumb. Skip Bayless may have once been a good reporter, I recall seeing him on a Mickey Mantle doc and thinking he seemed like a completely different guy than the full on antagonist that first take is built on. It's fine to say he's playing a role but I can't in anyway side with that guy or that role.

Why are you calling the man a thug? There are plenty of other words to describe him. Why pick the coded n-word?

It's funny how much the reason people are mad has changed. First, it was that he did the interview and scared poor EA. Next, it was "I get the interview because it was in the moment, but I guarantee he didn't just say 'Good game!' to Crabtree." Now that it's obvious that he DID say good game, however sarcastically it may have been, it's that he was an a-hole to Skip Bayless and made a choke gesture at Kaepernick.
I get if you don't like him, but it seems like a lot of you really hate the guy. He may be obnoxious, but I'm not going to call him a thug, POS, tPOS, or any other hateful shite just because he may have rubbed me the wrong way. I've never seen grown men with more fragility in my life. It's like listening to teenage girls talking about Gossip Girl or some shite.

I like Sherman a hell of a lot.

Only Stanford educated people can act this way!!!
His Stanford education isn't like most peoples, I am sure he passed classes because he was an athlete, so don't I don't know why people think he is so smart. I am sorry but someone that gets a freaking 990 on their SATs is NOT smart! The fact that he had a 4.2GPA, with a 990 SAT, in HS just shows how stupid everyone at his Compton HS must have been or how much he was favored for being an athlete.

It is well documented that academics are highly valued among Stanford athletes. It ain't your typical school where jocks fly free.

You purposely ignored my question to you.
Can you justify his comment toward Bayless? That is when I formed an opinion on the guy. He is not a thug by no means, but the guy is incredibly arrogant. Once again, I didn't care at all about that interview. He has done other things, and I haven't cared for the guy way before all of this. Stop ignoring the question.

I don't hate the guy. I think he is an insecure person that feels to the need to tell everyone how great and smart he is all the time. I don't care for it, or him.
I respect him as a player and actually enjoy watching the guy play, but there are plenty of reasons for me to think the guy is incredibly arrogant and insecure.

My opinion of the guy was formed after the Bayless interview, not this shite. I've yet to see someone justify what he said to Bayless. Please try to tell how he wasn't acting like a pompous douche bag on national television. Try to tell me that what he said and did was the professional thing to do.

That was not true when Sherman was there, as pointed out by their own paper HERE!
I am sorry but a 990 SAT is a below average score.

Once again, that show is faux outrage and trolling. Its onpar with saying stone cold steve austin wasnt a professional employee to vince McMahon during that story line.
Bayless trolled up to interview and he loved what happen on show that day. To use an interview from a show everyone agrees is more shtick driven then actual content driven to claim someone is a punk just doesn5 hold water.

What did Bayless say that was such a troll move in that? At that time Revis was still considered the best corner in the game. He said nothing in there that was antagonizing Sherman to go off on some ridiculous rant. You have to be professional enough to know how to handle that anyway.

he is right though, let the stats speak for themselves.
you didn't see jj watt going ape man on the world last year.

haha
A "normal" student wouldn't get into UGA with that score, much less Stanford.
