Can't believe we're at the point where people are knocking Stanford degrees and siding with Skip Bayless.
Richard Sherman is one of the greatest jimmie rustlers of all time.

Yes, I have a problem with athletes who got their degrees because of athletics and the mystery help behind it equating themselves to other students who worked vastly harder with less assistance to get theirs.
Now if you told me fitzpatrick said address me as "harvard graduate - ryan fitzpatrick" then I'd be fine. Why? that mtfer is smarter than 90% of us.

What did Bayless say that was such a troll move in that?
Skip's trolling of Sherman occurred well before this interview happened on Twitter & previous shows. Bayless provoked Richard well before this "interview" but those who are jumping on the bash Sherman bandwagon because it's the current in thing to do, don't even this know. The same thing happened between Skip & Terrell Suggs which ended in Suggs going on the show & calling Skip a douchebag.

So you are saying "normal students" never need extra assistence because they never struggle getting through their courses? Please provide me a link to that & while you are at, provide me one that shows for a fact Sherman needed assistance to get through his at Stanford. TIA

We can't prove that he got assistance there but we do know for a fact he needed assistance to get in. That being said....common sense will tell you that a person with a 990 SAT score can't get great grades at Stanford without some help.

The guy isnt a thug hes just an annoying loudmouth, IDGAF what race you are, what school you went to, where you're from or anything; I don't want to hear you yell on national television
Hey did you guys know he went to Stanford??? that automatically cancels out anything obnoxious you do after you graduate.
great player though and plenty of fun to watch on the field

An average 990 SAT scoring student gets into stanford without any assistance? Please find me one. I guarantee you majority of those deserving students that got in didn't need an athletic scholarship to get in - they got in on their own merits and grades.
Actually find me a non-stanford athlete who got into stanford with his exact stats: 4.2 gpa on a 5.0 scale and an equivalent modern day SAT score to his 990. You can even use the same extrapolated score of ACT: 21 or 23. I'll give you a boost, I'll even let you use a minority.
Can't find one, because they don't legitimately exist. Even minorities need to have high scores to get into a top 5 university.

I don't know how it is at Stanford, one way or the other, but there are some excellent academic institutions that "take care" of athletes. I mean, Vince Young managed to stay eligible at Texas, and then proceded to score a 6 on the Wonderlic.
Imo, people are making way too much out of Richard Sherman's behavior BOTH WAYS. I've already said it several times, but there's no reason to think he's a thug. On the other hand, it's all too predictable that some people are giving Sherman a total pass while trying to denigrate anybody who criticized him.
He's like a lot of athletes. He's way too full of himself. Other than that, shame on all of us for paying way too much attention to his antics. I'm done with discussing this overblown topic.
