Yeah I'm sure Sherman's 4.2 HS gpa did nothing to help him get into Stanford
fricking Louisiana water trash on this board...racist motherfrickers (and I'm white)

He may be educated, but not highly intelligent like so many people are saying he is!
There are so many g.d. sherman threads, but didn't stout post some email or letter he wrote while at Stanford that sounded like it was Straight Outta Compton.

No he's not.

So you're saying his diploma is illegitimate?
That's a helluva leap.
its legitimate, he got it and it is written in paper.
But you equate the pathway to get there as the same to your everyday stanford communication major's? I think not. You know athletes get in easier than your average student and they pass easier in bigger name schools with bigger athletic programs.
Or you're telling me there's a high chance a 1480/1500 current SAT student with a 4.2/5.0 GPA who can get into stanford, non-athlete.

Then that is his rightfully conferred degree, and any beef you have with it is pure conjecture on your part.

Help? Yes.
There are lots of people with perfect GPAs that don't get into UGA.
And with a 990, not a chance.
Unless you play football or basketball.

If you want your kids acting like him I don't care, but for my kids he is not.
Therefore you are wrong.

Again, no one is intimating that. So what if he brings up that he is a Stanford graduate? That's a helluva accomplishment no matter how you slice it and as someone who is extremely proud of my alma mater in Texas A&M, I don't begrudge him one iota.
how is it an accomplishment if he did it with an absurd amount of help to get in and to pass? That's pretty much insulting every legitimate student there.

There for you are wrong.

Last thing I want for my future kids is to get a free pass in life (hell I didn't and I'm ESL like a mofo) and for them to think because they're smart they can tell anyone not as intelligent as them, "i'm better at life than you".

Speak for your own kids then.

About what? That he is a role model for kids? When did you begin speaking for the youth of America as a whole?
Your statement is fallacious.

He's from Compton and the son of a garbage man. Not many would sign up for that "free pass"

OK how many of you believe one bit of programming during a skip bayless/Stephen A Smith interview?
That's absurd

you're just running in circles. We get it, he got a degree from Stanford because he was an athlete.
He's an average student, not above average which Stanford requires you to be.
As an average, non-athlete, no he would not have gotten in.
So you must consider those people that come and talk to a school/donate millions and get a 'honorary degrees' as real degrees as well right?

Did Sherman set a record for most jimmies rustled on the MSB? Or is that still LeBron?

you think half of america's children who seen or have watched the video think its fake? The youth imitate and see the athletes all the time, that's one example I don't want my kids to take after.

Didn't say that, but way to jump to conclusions and run around in circles as well

Your beef seems to be not with Sherman in particular, but with student athletes across the board, tbh.

LeBron still. By a hair

Let Sherman blow up during the Super Bowl tho and watch what happens
