He made reference to someone being put on a cross like Jesus. Very awkward to me.

Yeah, that was………a little over the top. He’s trying too hard

Only if going from pathetic to pitiful is considered better.

I sort of like him. He at least brings some entertainment value to the booth and is not some vanilla, cookie-cutter, forgettable nobody that invariably toes the company line play after play.

I'm not sure he'll last too long, though, if he continues to say some polarizing stuff.

The fact he hasn’t been fired for this is incredibly maddening.

Could you imagine him saying anything remotely similar but instead saying Muhammad?

Ok, ok firing might be a little much. I take that back. But an apology shouldn’t be too much to ask for. ESPN has certainly made personnel apologize for way less.

He insulted a person that a billion people consider to be Gods son and profess as their Lord. And you don’t have to admit it’s a double standard, but deep down you know it’s true.

He comes across like someone who thinks he’s the greatest football mind to ever exist.

Last night was my first night really listening to him call a game. It seemed like he had just written up several over the top one-liners that came out terribly rehearsed. Was awful.

Actually made me nostalgic for Verne & Gary.
