Saban has been one of the leaders in bitching about NIL, example: the A&M fiasco after losing players to them.

Nothing I said was wrong.

Soooo, you DON’T like capitalism? I’m confused here. Nothing is more “American” than what’s going on in s college sports today

There are fairness and competition laws even in Capitalism.

(As an aside, Capitalism is the greatest form of economy ever invented. It has generated the most wealth the world has ever seen, the largest middle class world has ever seen, the least amount of poverty the world has ever seen, the most charity the world has ever seen, the most excess the world has ever seen. I could go on and on about how amazing Capitalism is.)

He went front having a monopoly on paying players under the table to having to compete in the open market. Boo fricking hoo.

You think Saban & Bammer were the ONLY ones paying players “under” the table prior to NIL?

Well at least he adjusted to the times and ponies up. Could be Brian Kelly, bitching about it and being to stubborn to adjust to the times. Always a day late and dollar short with the big timers. I'd rather Sabans approach to be honest. If elite is the goal

Wait I thought his commitment was this afternoon, why has everyone conceded that he is going to UT?

It's sad if we come out on the short end of the stick as we seem to be doing in football. But it's great when we get great baseball players like Tommy White and Paul Skenes.

Saban is always so pissy about NIL. He spent a decade building up the greatest reputation of all time that recruits itself, and that’s been thrown out of the window overnight.

I dont know how you typed that out without laughing hysterically. You can’t be serious.

Yeah he’s really panicking I bet…

Since Saban took over in 2007, the average class ranking is a staggering 2.4, including nine No. 1 classes. An argument can be made that Alabama's recruiting is better than ever in the present day. The 2021, 2022 and 2023 classes are three of the six highest-rated recruiting classes in 247Sports history.

Stop crying.
You can either adapt to the changes in the world or be left behind.
This isn't a new sentiment, and it just is what it is.
Money rules the world and that won't ever change.
