I forgot the part where I claimed that a) Mizzou was relevant this season or b) Mizzou had a game on CBS against a 2-9 team with a 30 minute trophy presentation after the game.
sorry that more people care about Army/Navy than they do Mizzou.

I'm sure Vandy would crush Mount Union or Whitewater too...or any lower division football. If you don't like football unless it's the best, why are you even watching Vandy?
NFL is your place bud.

Why are you making this about Mizzou? It has nothing to do with Mizzou...

I'm as patriotic as the next guy, served in the USMC, but C'MON!, teams that Vanderbilt would crush playing each other really isn't exciting. Oh well, at least there's a College Football game on today.
Completely agree. I don't think they should get rid of the game or anything, but I could really give a shite less.

No one's making you watch. It's really not that hyped up, either. Wasn't on the front page of ESPN.com or talked about much with the Heisman buzz.

I'm with you, it's a cool rivalry, but these are two largely irrelevant teams this season. IDGAF about the faux pageantry.
Funny, I remember when Navy whipped Mizzou in the Texas Bowl and had Mizzou players whining all game about low blocks.

The Service Academies need major reform, one of which would be to push their football programs from FBS to FCS, or something lower. These games serve as a major distraction to their purpose, few of the players will make careers of the military and tend to make poor officers. The hypocrisy involved in their coddling is really no different to student athletes across the country but sends a much more pernicious message to the cadets and midshipmen.

What a waste of bandwith.

Tell me why I am wrong. The Ivy league schools have adopted this philosophy.

Well let's start by you telling us what you're basing your claim that few serve 20 years and those that do are poor officers.

The coddling doesn't stop once they commission, just so you know.

you are the biggest douchebag on TD.
Shut your fricking mouth.
If you don't care about the game, don't fricking watch it.
If you don't want to read about it on TD, don't open the fricking thread.
Bookmarked as a complete AIDs dick.
