I don't even watch the Thursday game anymore. Even if they are entertaining, it is usually because neither team is prepared or playing well.

The logical move would be to schedule two teams coming off byes as others have said. The NFL obviously doesn't care as this has been the way to go since they took this night away from college football, which actually had fun games to watch.

i've honestly never watched a Thursday game in my life... mainly b/c all the things i read and see about them, seem to confirm the product on the field is vastly inferior and not worth the time to watch

The only time that the NFL should play on Thursdays is Thanksgiving

Came to post this exact statement word for word. And those should also be associated with previous bye week for the teams involved.

I think the league knows a 2 bye system is coming eventually, they want to use to it in NFLPA negotiations to eventually get 18 games and a yearly oversees game for every team

Football is such a brutal game. These guys don’t rest long enough to heal. Plus We have football 7 days a week.

Bills play Sunday then have to be in Houston, Tx on a Thursday. Massive advantage for the home team and it’s all needless. No one needs to see NFL on a Thursday.

This thread is funny bc that game last night was one of the more entertaining games the NFL has had this year

Last night was a shitshow. As are most of the other Thursday games.

We could have played the Texans on any day of the week and it wouldn’t have mattered. They murdered our o line

You're gonna miss them when they're gone.
Listening to Al Michaels is good enough for me.

Was 10 y.o. for “Do you Believe in Miracles?”

Crazy to believe that the broadcast was a replay from that afternoon and 99% of the country had no clue. The MSM kept their mouths shut so the whole country could enjoy it for what it was. I know you knew this but trying to put that into perspective for the youngins’.
