A notorious woman beater makes 80M a year.

Good for him.

How does he get away with it?

Oh yeah. Must be the 80M a year.

Agreed. Someone who can't read contracts or even know what type of legal documents he is signing is ripe to be taken advantage of. Very sad situation.

You dont think he has lawyers to do that for him? All the middle class people in here telling a guy worth over $100 million how to handle his money...

I am no financial genius, but I am pretty sure you don't keep 80 million in the same type of acct my 5 year old keeps his birthday money.

Plenty of people have crashed and burned with much more money before. He probably only has a few more years of legitimate earning power before his lifestyle and stupidity catch up to him.

I get all that. Just getting annoying when every super rich athlete of a certain ethnicity does something dumb everyone starts screaming "He'll be broke in 3 years, what a retard. IF i was him i would do this and that and blah blah blah". I know it happens, but it seems like every single one of them will be broke according to this board

What does someone's class status have to do with their personal finance knowledge? A lot of financial advisors who do that kind of a thing for a living are middle class.

Floyd is a dumbass with a lot of green pieces of paper. That doesn't make him a financial genius just because he has a lot of money.

If having money meant you knew how to handle it, no athlete would ever go broke. But that clearly isn't the case.

To be fair, about 70% of them are bankrupt within 5 years of retirement.

The ones who aren't are typically the richest, but they can at least read. Dude needs to hire someone to start investing his money wisely so his family is set for generations, not just a decade.

No one is telling him how to box nitwit, he probably has the millions in spite of himself, because he is a great boxer, not because he is a financial guru.

He boxes well, that is why he is rich. No one is advising Warren Buffet

More of them go broke than you think. They spend it as fast as they make it. Not sure what class has to do with it.
