We couldn't make it through the first day without the bogus steroid claims.
Nice.

There are guys in my club league (myself not included) who can play 5 sets in 100-degree heat, yet it's a miracle that some of the top athletes in the world can do it?

Check that, I read the score wrong. Fritz got one set from Stan. I thought Kyrgios might struggle with the worm, but looks like he did well. Anybody see a line on Willis v. Fed?

I was gonna say, there is basically no one who can hang with Nole deep into four sets. Murray comes closest, but usually runs out of gas. So, I understand some of the butthurt that the sport is becoming cycling.

That's an excuse. IF they were taking the same drug(s) it would be, but they are definitely not.
What Djoker and his countrymen are doing is not the same as Ferrer or Murray.
Level playing field????

How did Jo Willi look today?
For some reason I always think he and Monfils are going to get to the semis once, but nope never happens.

I know more than you. You think cycling during the Armstrong era were ALL doing the same shite? Negative.
All you pro drug cheat apologists are pathetic, naive, and stupid. Regardless of sport.

I hate to tard this thread up with doping talk, but my dad used to say in Rafa/Djoker matches "may the guy with the best pharmacist win." I get what pride is saying, though. The top guys all have access to whatever means if they want to cheat. The only guys I feel bad for might be some 200 ranked dude who doesn't have the resources.
I do think that five hours of 30 shot rallies is not where the sport should be. But, court speed and poly strings are contributing to that -- it's not just a product of doping. It's just a little frustrating to see nobody at Nole's fitness level. But, he still has to hit the shots.

They get the worst start times, the worst courts, the worst times to hit, and no money or sponsorships.
Yet they put in just as much time and do as much work.

quote:They get no money either. It is a joke how poorly the ATP handles the money. They funnel everything to the top players, and leave everyone else fighting for scraps. There has been a huge push to try and steal some of the PGA tours executives and get them to fix the ATP
