Agree and you could argue that he’s #2 on the surface.

He could legit win this tournament.

I haven’t made this leap yet.

Sloane through to the fourth round.

Tsitsi v Djoker right now on clay and I would probably bet the Greek with my life on the line.

If Rafa has to go through Sinner, Schwartzman, Djoker, and Tsitsipas, he is going to be running on empty at the end, unless he wins some matches in straight sets.

If you’re not watching Sinner v. Ymer. Put it on. It’s a really good match.

Sinner, Shortman, and Djokovic were his last three opponents here in 2020 and he did in fact beat them all in straight sets.

Tsitsipas is a beast, though. His match next round should be interesting.

Do we know if the curfew will be lifted at any point during the tournament?

Would suck if Nadal/Sinner was the night match on Monday and no one was in attendance.

Four consecutive breaks of service in the 2nd set of the Nadal/Norrie match.

Norrie can do some things that give Nadal trouble, but Nadal looks pretty uncomfortable right now which is a bit surprising. His forehand is giving him trouble.

I saw Norrie get a second break in a row, I think to get it to 3-1. I then come back from a few minutes of yard work and Rafa had set points. Whoa.

“The easing of Covid-19 restrictions on June 9 will enable 5,000 spectators to attend the first men's quarter-final, but it will be the only one of 10 evening sessions to feature supporters.”

So it will be lifted right when they run out of night sessions lol. Should have just pushed the tourney back another week.

Ridiculous timing.

One more week would have been tough with Wimbledon right around the corner.

shite, true. You would think the slams would work together, but that’s asking way too much.

The French pissed everyone off last year when they just planted their tournament two weeks after the US Open without consulting anyone, so yes that is definitely too much to ask.

So it appears either Nadal/Sinner or Federer/Berrettini will be a night match with no fans on Monday. That stinks.

I see Federer is playing right now, but can’t find it live on TV. Is there no broadcast live right now?

Tennis Channel is showing a women's match. They suck.

NBC will probably only show the championship matches. Maybe NBC Sports will pick up Djokovic/Nadal in the semis.

It is streaming on Peacock - have to have Premium account. They have a 7-day trial then $4.99/mo. available.

Edited for accuracy

Don't think Roger will have enough gas to pull this out, but if he does I'm extremely curious to see the odds vs. Berrettini.

ETA: 3 tiebreaks wut

Fanduel has it up as Berretini -205/Roger +168. That feels right.

Damn… was hoping for an overreaction to this score and a bigger price so I could take Roger.

The Olympics probably complicates that this year.

Sounds like Federer is considering a withdrawal from the tournament
