I'll play devil's advocate just for the hell of it.
I think we can all agree that Novak's fitness is clearly not at the level that it was in his prime. The question is, how far off is he?
At the French he ran out of gas against Cecchinato imo. His marathon with Rafa at Wimbledon spanned 2 days, so fatigue wasn't an issue. He was also struggling physically vs. Fucsovics last week.
Cooler temps would help on Friday and/or Sunday, but there is a (very small) chance that something weird happens tonight.

They're saying Millman is a machine. I don't think he can get this to a point where he outlasts Nole, but I agree Nole is probably not ready for what Rafa and Thiem did.

I think it is a little arrogant on his part but I think Novak is just fricking around out there for the most part

Honestly I think he's feeling the burn and trying to hit his way out of it. Counterpunchers love that shite though.

You think so? I don't see that

Just seems like fatigue has been more prevelant.
Millman doesn’t seem to feel it.

You and the crowd probably wish it but I’d bet millmans level will fall back to where it usually is here soon after dropping that set.
