That 1000 points has been an albatross all year, he'd admit it. But, maybe he mucks out 500-750 points this week/next week to mitigate the damage.
At the end of day, he won 2 doubles majors this year with arguably the GOAT doubles player, has a hot GF, travels the world making a few bucks and gets free Nike/Babolat gear. That's not so bad.

I would just play dubs, and it wouldn’t even be a tough decision. Look at Klaasen and Venus. $2.4 and $1.6 million career earnings, assuming Wiki is up to date. None of the stress of singles, way less wear and tear on the body, and less chance of burning out.

The MV fantasy team is very likely to finish second place and get 25% of the pot. This was after a draft where MV was hung over, taking naps, and everyone was laughing at his team. They didn't laugh when I picked up Teetsy fly on the waiver wire....bitches.

Apparently the Kokk is working with Gil Reyes now. I’ll be checking out the Kokk tomorrow at the LV Challenger. The field is pretty weak due to withdrawals and early exits. Robredo and Kozlov got smoked.

Why is Robredo still playing competitive tennis? You had a nice career, dude, but you're trash now. Just stop.
We don't talk much about Koslov on here, but he's really fallen significantly short of expectations. Did he simply peak at 14 and then stop growing physically? That's my take on it. If you're gonna be undersized on the ATP tour and have success you gotta be a fricking beast a la Ferrer or Diego. Rightly or wrongly, I'm just not sure there is a place at the top of tennis for an undersized player who relies on finesse and touch
Even in the women's game, that might have gone the way of the dodo bird. My dirty Eastern European girl Aga Radwanski took that style about as far as it can go, I suspect.

Had to look up the last time we brought up Kozlov. It was in May, though it feels a lot further back. He's listed at 6'0, 174. For some reason I thought he was 5'10 at most. Maybe he hit a growth spurt.
Either way, it looks like he's just simply not good enough. We have enough examples to prove that success can still be had, at least for the time being.
