It was really difficult to gauge Fed's level today because Dolgopolov was hurt and, before he retired, was just going for clean winners on every shot to avoid having to get in rallies and move around on a bum wheel.

A portion of Fed's match was all I saw today. Did anyone catch some good matches today? Or wanna opine on who looked sharp and who didn't?

I was up in northern Michigan, but caught chunks when I returned. Isner and Harrison had solid wins. But, like mv said, they will probably be out in a round or two. Now when I see it, Isner and Baby Fed is a huge match.

Who was the guy who lost and basically said he didn't give half a shite because he knows he'll play for a decade, retire, and never have to work again?

Hat dude is either the biggest a-hole around, or he has major mental issues.

Missed that but there's about a 105% chance it's Bernard Tomic.

He said he was a top 10 grass player before the tourney

Googled him, looks like the right guy. His post match interview was a fricking joke. I'll look for it.

Here's part of it. Nowhere near the most aggravating part.

Unfortunately, not much can be done about him or his antics, aside from a possible fine for admitting that he took a timeout today without an injury. He has no interest in the sport, and will continue winning a few matches here and there and collecting paychecks.

The sad thing is he beat Mischa Zverev 2-0 last week, and lost to him 3-0 today on a bigger stage. If he can't get motivated for Wimbledon, there's really no hope.

He has serious mental issues. And not merely on-court mental problems. I think he really needs psychiatric help.

He has the tools to be a top 10 grass court player.

I didn't watch a whole lot. Raonic wasn't sharp at all. Struff just played like crap. 51% first serve percentage is about as low as you will see, and he was just rolling in the 2nd serve and Milos was teeing off. I thought Raonic had made some strides in his ground game, but he may be regressing.

ESPN only showed the Delpo match a few times in key moments, so I didn't see enough to comment. The other match was Kerber, and I wasn't paying attention.

I'm curious about Cilic. I had sorta written him off in the past, but it looks like he's focusing more now, and may have found something with his new coach. He even had some surprisingly good results on clay this year. His return of serve has always been a weakness, so I'll be watching that pretty closely.

I can't imagine anyone is more overrated in tennis right now than Ostapenko. She clearly has a high ceiling, and can probably beat anyone when she is on, but there's a reason why she never won a single tournament before RG.

From his interview, I got the vibe that he's a few bad breaks in life from being in a REALLY dark place.

Dude ain't right.

Yeah that was impressive, no doubt, but people are picking her to win Wimbledon too.

Jesus, Konta and Vekic just went 3:10 on Centre Court.

People just have no idea what to do when Serena isn't playing.

Konta-Vekic was an awesome match. Stan is a very lucky man as well.

And neither is anywhere near a pusher.

There's talk of the courts playing slow, but I don't know how grass could be slowed down. Maybe cutting it shorter? That could explain the dead spots showing up earlier than usual.

Dustin Brown said the balls are playing slower than before.

Some of these scores and unusually long rallies for grass courts might be further proof.
