This was easily the worst grand tour ever. Both boring and an unmitigated shite show.

Yeah I'm sure wasting so much time and energy disrupting a bike race really did a lot for the Palestinian people.

No ceremony.
Also I never updated but had a feeling the entire tour would be a shite show.
Unmitigated shite show.
Shameful. Absolutely shameful.

After they gave in to the first “protest,” this was going to happen the rest of the way through.

The precedent may have been set. I wonder what we’ll see the rest of the season and then next year in the classics, the Giro, and the Tour. That said, Spain’s politicians did not help things much and Spain is Spain: it’s always going to roll over.

I just saw rumors that Chris Froome was crashed intentionally by a pro-Palestine group and it wasn’t reported on. Would not shock me given the comments his wife made

I haven’t seen what she said.

In some of the comments from the highlight videos some commenters were taking up for the protestors from one stage saying it was peaceful, when it was clear the protestors were attempting to block the riders who were traveling at speed and even grabbed at the riders.

It also doesn’t help when Spain’s PM eggs it on: LINK

UCI needs to cancel its sanctioning of the Vuelta next year to set an example.
