no... you mean a year where they were 7-4, 2-3 in the Catholic League, a 24 seed falling to Fontainebleau in round 2?

this isn't the hoops top 50

Yeah it was Landry-Walker. I knew it was a westbank school. That same coach said Brother Martin was going to be a dark horse this year and as a Brother Martin alumnus I laughed when he told me that.

Jesuit is in the 40's, Brother Martin is 18?

Jesuit beat Brother Martin TWCE last year, and have their quarterback and most of their better players back.

Did Brother Martin get some amazing freshman or new transfer, or am I missing something here?

It can't be JUST because Jesuit has a new head coach, can it?

If BM makes it past the first round I would be impressed. The are singlehandedly the school that does the least with the most in football in LA.

The main problem is coaching

That's no one's fault but the school. They just got 10 million dollars for crying out loud. Go get a guy who can coach. Or actually, just keep doing what you are doing. I like that BM is terrible!

Ouachita. Outstanding talent year in and year out, great boosters, 1 title 25 years ago is all they have to show for it.

they're a little more consistent than BM... plus they are nonselect with a school district. Brother Martin also doesn't have West Monroe in their district

Oh jeez, this again? Hold on, let me hit all your talking points for you: high school soph looked like college soph, Curtis recruits but not University, and Curtis is evil just because. Just take what you got this year and move on.

Someone brought up that they went 12-0 and lost to Curtis in the finals and I just said my son experienced the same thing. No other commentary. None.

I'm sorry that somehow shoved your tampons in further.

The owls got stuck in catholic league for nearly 20 years without making the playoffs and took it stoically.....
