We will never know what a prime Brady is without Belichick nor a Belichick without a prime Brady.
Looks like we will see what Belichick is without Brady prime this season. But we wont see Brady prime without Belichick. But we can reason that if Brady is awesome this year but Bill flounders, TB is the man. If NE can win a Superbowl without TB, then we'll know its all BB. If both drop off as I expect...then we still wont know.

That’s the reasoning of a toddler.

Ok tell me why. Most other variables will remain the same. the only thing that changes is Brady is no longer in his prime.
Being a bandwagon Pats fan doesn't make you any kind of expert, by the way.

Two things can be great at the same time. I know First take will convince you otherwise but it’s simply true
Performance from here on out has zero effect of the accomplishments of greatness that both achieved to this stage of their career.
Neither would be as great without the other one. Both are all timers at what they do. Simple as that.

Ok so then if they are both still great, then they are both great. I thought that went without saying. I was responding to someone who said we will never know, and I laid out a scenario that we will very likely be able to tell.

They could both go 0-16 next year and still be great.

Nope. That would mean prime Brady was propping up BB all this time. And that Brady is no longer in his prime or anywhere near it.
Its a hypothetical message board discussion. Nobodys going to keep either one out of the HOF based on anything at this point. But its perfectly logical to ask which one was more responsible for the Pats' success. Just like Kobe/Shaq, MJ/Phil Jackson, or Montana/Rice.
Especially when we don't have any current sports to discuss.

Now that’s the response of a toddler.

If it was written in Ebonics, would it have made more sense to you?

I saw him throwing to practice squaders with an elbow injury while getting hammered by whoever Marshall Newhouse attempted to block until Wynn came back
I also saw him throw some frickin lasers and have one of the best deep ball accuracy numbers in his career with no deep ball WRs to actually throw to

Trying to get down to your level, Kellerman

This.
He's not "I'll drag Reche Caldwell, Doug Gabriel, and Laurence Maroney to within five points of winning a Super Bowl" good any more, but he's still pretty freakin' good.

Lmao so after 4 years of countless stories exactly like this one printed by ESPN they finally got it right cause Brady finally left. I guess all those K.C fans who’ve predicted the Chiefs would win the Super Bowl every year since the 70s are prophets now too? ESPN “journalist” are a joke.

Who cares ..... Brady is washed up. Tampa thinks they are gonna win the SB with a not as good of version of TB. Why won't people see this. He can't make the throws he used to. It's a simple fact.
Hmmm, now the smart money is on TB to win the SB.

Frankly he's doing the public a favor; now we get to see how good this fricker really is playing for a shite organization like most QBs.

Meh. Bruce Arians is a really good coach, especially offensively. And they have weapons. I’m not sure their defense is ready to win a Super Bowl, but as a Saints fan they scare me. I could easily see them getting hot and going on a nice playoff run. Assuming Brady’s healthy. I don’t think he’s dropped off nearly as much as others do. And he’s gonna be more motivated than ever before.
