Good thing no one in Houston cares about Houston sports. Just another place to take a customer and expense.

Oh look, another fan of a major market pro sports team doing the “whoa is me” act. Try being a fan in a city like Milwaukee or Buffalo.

The Bucks and Packers are doing just fine. Disappointing for the Bucks, but still have a great team to work with.

Buffalo.

I'll give you that one. I was so thrilled for them when they made the playoffs last year. Definitely a great fan base that deserves some success.

You missed the point. Houston is full of transplants. They are fans of other teams, like me. You never see people wearing jerseys of Houston teams around town unless MAYBE game day. If you were in the city yesterday, you would have no idea the Texans were starting the season or Rockets were in the playoffs. In NOLA, the mailman would be wearing a Saints hat. They just don’t care about Houston sports in Houston.

This may be a dumb question and completely un-related likely: but what percentage of existing population in HOU were Dallas Cowboy fans? I know there's the rivalry but I am wondering what the break down is since the Cowboys are the team pretty much for the state of TX otherwise.

When I lived in west TX it all cowboy country and the occasional Bronco fans as DEN was 6 hours away.

New Orleans will never have to worry about transplants.

There are more Titans fans in Houston proper than Cowboys fans.

Go two hours outside of the metro, and nobody roots for the Texans.

thanks I was honestly curious for the break down. I rarely ever saw much Texan stuff outside of the HOU metro but wanted to know more about in town
