I still gotta chuckle at the nfl trying to expand into Europe...its not going work man. Soccer is king over there and always will be. Its like trying to market cricket to americans

I mean…it actually is.
They love showing NFL games over there.
Keep in mind, east coast games are evening games for them.
The sport IS growing there. It doesn’t have to supplant soccer to be successful.

Its either mostly americans attending those games or curious locals just looking to experience it once. In the case of the latter, I highly doubt those locals will become dedicated fans

So heckin cool.
The natural grass pitch is luscious and fluffy.
The field decor is top notch, with solid painted endzones that feature:
- vibrant primary and secondary colours
- official team logos and wordmarks

Youre glib, Boodis Man. You dont even...
Its already working incredibly well in every conceivable way
1. Every game has sold out within hours for years now at prices more than double that of standard game
2. Spreads American football throughout new continents
3. Opened new window of domestic broadcasting that is worth hundreds of millions.

That's interesting but seems over the top and unnecessary. No wonder stadium prices are so ridiculous
Europe isn’t exactly great for growing grass like a lot of the southern US is. They need these types of setups to have resilient and beautiful turf made for sports. Or they roll grow lights out on the field regularly.
Notre dame and Ohio state and Michigan basically gave up on real grass because they don’t want to go to these lengths.

At least the Dolphins and Redskins put on a thrilling soccer spectacle for the locals.
Seven FGs attempts.... Washington had a long of 30 yards!
