Seriously, can this team just die already? Did anyone watch them dismantle the Warriors the other night with 100 year old Duncan and Parker and Ginosbleed?

Anyone who has been watching Sports the past two decades doesn't know life without the Spurs always being around. What do people really think about this team and franchise? Does anyone outside of San Antonio actually like these guys?

I know I know... they play the right way blah blah.

Go away already.

I think Pop is hilarious, and I respect the hell out of that team and how they play. Its beautiful.

I still hate them though.

Why don't you just die already?

I use to hate them and cheer against them

I appreciate what they have been doing nowadays. It's incredible. I can't say I cheer for them though. I love pops personality

So important to him that he wasted his 24th post in two years on the topic.

BTW, Hogboy?

even as a fan of a division rival of theirs it's hard to not respect and appreciate what they have done. other than hating them for a while after they bested us in the WC semis I have nothing but love and respect for them. was rooting for them to take it all last year.

Overstating this just a lot, don't you think? You make it sound as if they've dominated every year. They rarely dominated back to back years. The Lakers have been a bigger deal during the same span.

Always hated the Spurs...but never hated watching them...they play beautiful basketball.

I think they should be admired if you like the sport.

I hate them because they own the Warriors' arse. It's like trying to beat Yoda at light saber fighting

The least flashy, most effective and efficient team in the league, which is why people hate them.

Really, really enjoy the Spurs. Coached some younger kids this past year, into the summer through the NBA title-- they were 11, and had the typical 11 year old's impression of basketball-- essentially, Hero-ball was the way to win.

I popped in a video of the '03 Spurs, and pointed out that the year they were born, Tim Duncan and company were winning an NBA title; I pointed out that they were playing for another NBA title right then as well-- and it wasn't Hero Ball that got them to the top, and kept them competing there, for their entire lifespan.

They're a lesson in discipline, patience, ball-movement, and team play-- and the sport will be poorer for us all, when the Spurs are dismantled/retired.
