Quite possibly the most irrelevant and depressing franchise in sports

I’ve always said the key to winning in today’s NFL is to hire a meathead defensive coach with anger issues

He was simply interviewing for the job early

At least the Saints getting humiliated by a good team. The Titans letting the Jets do it

Yikes… I expected more from the Titans.

The Titans are the most sleepy organization in sports. In a city like Nashville, I always felt like the buzz around that team should compare to how much the city gets behind the Preds but it isn’t even close.
It’s constant bad HC hires, always missing in the draft and never having a big time QB.
They built the stadium for CMA fest and other music events more than they built it for the Titans.
I lived there a few years and never understood the lack of interest in the team.

Cam Ward hasn't had ideal support but it's getting late early for him

You could replace Cam Ward’s name with any quarterback they’ve had over the last 15 years. It’s the same song and dance with the organization.

Nashville peaked around 2014 in my opinion. It was always a fun place to go but I feel like the last 6-8 years it’s gotten stale and so commercialized.

Agreed. I was there during the Vince Young years. Before it blew up. Still had a lot of areas that weren’t completely overhauled with high rises. It’s become an insufferable town now.

If tweet fails to load, click here. Sometimes the dude thinks he's still at Incarnate Word playing against Northwestern St.
