Both teams look spicy on D so far

Do they still have to play one way football at Wrigley Field or did they fix that?
When the Bears played there they ran the field the other way from left field to the 1st base line and they had to fill the dugout up with pillows.

The end zone is home plate and the other is left field but I don’t know what you mean by one way

When a team starts a possession, they usually go to one end zone (one direction), because the other end zone doesn’t have much space behind it.

No, teams are going in both directions. They Lu up padding but yes, it still looks dangerous in the left field
