I can especially with coaching from a parent. Girl at school made an allegation vs an employee and was proven false, yet she still claims it happened.
We also have a girl who was abused but she’s been told by her family it was “an enigma”

This is gonna be one of the great "what ifs" in baseball if not sports history: WHAT IF the Oregon state police did not commit the clerical error that ultimately revealed that history and case to the public at-large? I mean we're talking about an absolute baller at the pitching position, a Nolan Ryan, Denny McLain-caliber pitcher and he isn't even drafted these last 2 drafts. Serves to demonstrate how massive PR and marketing is to sports teams across the board when it comes to personnel decisions and questionable pasts, a cost-benefit analysis.

I read they don’t speak. But I have no clue what the dynamic or particulars are of this and not saying none is not being truthful.

No one does. Thats what makes people like the OP look ignorant. The parents (Luke's parents) wanted this to go away for the family. So they made Luke plead guilty and sealed it up. He claims nothing happened, and didn't want to confess to anything. Clearly, there was no physical evidence to actually put him in jail.

im 100% not defending this dude. Just playing devils advocate here. What if the brother and/or his wife didnt get along with the pitcher and parents, maybe there was a falling out, maybe jealous he was their golden boy and got all attention, maybe something else. Children can be easy to coach.
again, dont attack me. Not defending him just saying there are other possible scenerios. Stuff we will never know. The only fact is he pled guilty.

Can't confirm if true or not but I remember reading that there were the two brothers, and the one with the 4-yo had a soon to be ex wife who was trying to stir shite up using her child. The only two people who know are them. I can see why he wanted to make it go away as quickly as possibly because he did it or didn't do it. I'm glad I don't make that call nor have children of my own for this very reason.
