Morrow for Jones

Good trade for the Mavs. Jones was basically worthless on the offensive side while Morrow gives Dallas a good 3 point option off the bench when he's healthy.

Plus, supposedly Morrow is besties with Howard. So, there's that.

sometimes I think the friends with thing is overblow, but it has been said that they're close. so it'd seem the Hawks would wanna keep him around in case that would help them sign Dwight (and I know getting him is remote to say the least).

So with Josh Smith staying in Atlanta, was the Redick trade e biggest deadline move?

Garnett to the Clips always seemed like a real longshot anyway.

I don't get the Redick trade. They gave up Tobias Harris and Udrih for essentially 2 months of Redick and Gustavo Ayon

I agree, I was just throwing that out there for the hell of it. I do think it's between Dallas and LA for Dwight, with Atl as an outside shot. Unless Brooklyn can work a trade, they are pretty much out.

Yep. I doubt he resigns with Milwaukee. I feel bad for him. He's shown a ton of loyalty towards Orlando and really worked hard to get where he is.

There's a better shot of him with Milwaukee than with some other teams who could have gotten him, such as the Knicks. Apparently he and his wife hate NYC.

Random observation after the Maynor trade, but before the deal, OKC's bottom five is filled with the ultimate hype guys from the past couple of years

Hasheem Thabeet
Daniel Orton
Perry Jones
Jeremy Lamb
DeAndre Liggins

Thabett is lulz because he's garbage and Perry Jones has no knee

Liggins and Orton too because they jetted from Kentucky to rot away

Really wish we could have unloaded Hickson, but I understand no one giving up a 1st for him.

Don't really like where we are this year, not a good shot at making the playoffs or in good position in the draft.

Maynor is probably our best bench player right away, sadly.

Not always about that. You've got a handful of good young players. Just sit back and watch them develop. Also the Bulls won the lottery with 1.7% chance and picked up Rose. NEVER KNOW!

IIRC, that popped up in an article earlier this week during all the trade speculation at Hoopshype.

Problem is we will not even get a 1st round pick unless we drop in to the top 12.

Missing the playoffs and ending up with the 13th or 14th pick would be the worst case scenario for the season.
