It's on 680 the Fan here in Atlanta.
Smith wasn't traded. It's already been confirmed.

The Heat are once again a suitor for Greg Oden, having cleared a roster spot with Thursday's trade sending Dexter Pittman to the Grizzlies.
This comes directly from Oden's agent and could be nothing more than angling for leverage, but in the past Oden has shown interest in joining the Heat

The Atlanta Hawks have decided not to trade Josh Smith after several weeks of attempts with a host of teams.
The Hawks appeared to get the closest to an agreement on a trade with the Bucks on Smith.

They just said something on the radio about Josh Smith going to the Spurs for Blair and a first round pick.
didn't happen, and it would have had to be for a good deal more than that from the Spurs to make the salaries match. like Capt. Jack coming back. alas...

ORL/MIL trade doesn't make sense to me
- exchanged expiring contracts
- exchanged worthless young players
unless the Magic got some picks, I don't get it

If the rumor is true, Spurs vs heat will be one heck of a final.

Hickson rebounds and gets open dunks. But that's about it. He's a terrible defender. Collison doesn't look pretty out there, but the team is successful when he's on the court. He's a solid overall player. JJ Hickson is the complete opposite of that.

I doubt this happens until the Summer, if ever.

I think it happens during the summer. Where do you think Oden will end up?

Cleveland was apparently offering the best terms.

Cavs, especially if they are willing to give him a 2 yr deal like early rumors suggested.

Also, can someone please explain to me why JJ Hickson has a no-trade clause in his contract?

One-year deals only allow a player to retain "Bird rights" if they remain with the team who signs them.
As a result, they have veto rights over trades because losing their Bird rights costs them money in their next contract.

I agree with others that said the Cavs. They have money to offer. Miami really doesn't. Though he may want to see if being on a good team can make him a successful player and parlay that into another big contract.

Ronnie Brewer from NYK to OKC for a future 2nd round pick. I really like him as a player. Too bad he's going to be planted to the bench there.

Especially for a worthless second round pick.
