for all those haters starting threads daily stating they don't give a crap about the NBA and won't miss there not being a season. suck it you racist fruit cupcakes 
this season is going to matter, every game will be extremely important. sooo many free agents next offseason, how many big trades can we expect?
where will Chris Paul go? where will Dwight Howard go? the Celtics will lose Garnett and Ray Allen. I believe Derrick Rose, Russell Westbrook, and Deron Williams are all free agent. Might be Steve Nash, Tim Duncan, and Jason Kidd's final year. Can the Mavs repeat? Can the Heat back-up 10% of their talk? Dis gone be good

If the season starts when it looks like it will.....opening day will be the Mavs vs. the Heat. Lebron will have to watch firsthand, Dirk and the Mavs receive their rings

Myself I enjoy basketball, but have grown to strongly dislike the current NBA. I was hoping the season would be cancelled completely in the hopes that it would bring some real and needed change. As the league is now there are very few teams that have a real legit chance to win a title. because of this the league is very boring. Now there have been strides the last few years in that the quality of play has improved greatly. But until some major changes are made in the structure of the league it will remain a broken league. FWIW MLB has these same problems and just like the NBA refuses to fix it.

To call people who hate the NBA racist is stupid.
I like the NBA, used to absolutely LOATHE IT. But grew to appreciate it. I can understand why people hate it.

Thank God and Jesus they got this done.
This helps my business. We NEED the hornets so we can increase revenues and keep people employed.
Hate all you want about players/owners/games boring etc but this saves thousands of people anguish across the country and everyone should be happy about that

I am disappointed that they are going to play. Would have been nice for them not to play the season. Very difficult to feel sorry for the very rich and the rich arguing with each other.
