do you really believe he will never win another? if so, why? I really am curious how you could watch him now, know his history and still believe he won't win another.

There is no way this putting can stay this hot. No way. Once it falls a little he is back to top 20's and not winning. This has been the best ever two tournament putting performance. Ever. He hit it poorly but made everything. That doesn't last.

You mean he drove it poorly.

His approach shots were very good this week, which leads to getting easier putts.

Once again, everyone can just keep discrediting when he WINS.

He has more wins than anyone over the last 52 weeks

Can't wait to hear this explanation. Everyone who is close to him says he is in the best frame of mind in a very long time. But I guess you have some inside information.

Tiger is back for regular PGA Tour events.

We'll see in 3 weeks if he's back for majors. Personally, I see signs that he should be on the first page of the leaderboard on Sunday afternoon, mid April. If he is, I like his chances to wear the green jacket.

Agree with this.

He contended at 3 of the 4 majors last year, the natural progression of that, since his game has gotten more consistent is to put 4 rounds together to win one. As they say, all he has left to do is do it.

If/when he wins a major, everyone will just move the line he has to cross to prove he's "back".

People that dislike Tiger will continue to dislike him, regardless of how good he is, or how many tournaments he wins.

So, maybe he'll putt a little worse and hit it better. He wasn't putting like this when he won Torrey earlier this year. Or Memorial last year. Or at Congressional last year. Or at Bay Hill last year.

I really believe this. There are some people who will say he was too familiar with the course if he wins at Augusta. Or his putting was a fluke, etc. He needs to win a US or British Open in dominating fashion for the everyone to say he's back.

cause dammit.... the ghost of his burned down trailer told him....

... or maybe the ghost of his porn career told him...

... or maybe it was his old fake cancer mass talking to him....

... or his cheating wife

... or his missing kidnapped daughter.

Not from me. I called that tiger was done winning majors, before he ever "lost" it.

If he happens to win one, I will give him props .. and stop making predictions

for a least a week or so

This is absolutely true. I'll back you up on this.

But I don't recall what exactly lead you to predict this. You must have had some inside info. Was Mrs threeputt's picture in a tabloid back in 2009 or something?

Also, I think it's kind of funny the selective memories people have of Tiger, that he hit every drive down the middle 350 yards and hit every green and made every putt.

Take the Masters when he chipped in on 16. People tend to forget that he bogied the last 2 holes to let Chris Dimarco into a playoff. Sure, he went on to win, but it wasn't always roses.

ETA: Or at Bethpage in 02 he opened up the final round with a 3 shot lead and 3 putted 2 holes in the beginning of the final round to let everyone back in.

Exactly what I said in another thread.

Also, he hit it all over the place at the 2008 us open.
